Rated PG- Parental Guidance



I find it tormenting that TV shows are too liberated these days, these includes TV series and sitcoms that has parental guidance on it. Generally, televisions must be informative and educational. But media industries allow sexy films and slapstick sexy themes just to get high rating from the audience.

I still remember the time when my 6 year old nephew told me about “the man and woman on TV are hurting each other.” Then I asked him where he saw it and what channel .To my surprise it was from a pornography channel in our cable TV. I tried explaining to him that not all TV programs are allowed to be viewed by little ones.

I tried to watch some sitcoms and series, and I found out that even in commercials they actually depict sex, like in advertisements for elisa kit and some contraceptives. I admit that I am a conservative person and I think conservatism should be shown in society in order to preserve the innocence of children. I am not against these kinds of commercials, but come to think of it, those children who go home early have access to television and a greater chance of being exposed to immorality.
